Dornink requires a 50% deposit on all orders before shipping. Purchase orders can be used to begin production on custom apparel or ordering on Ready to Wear. No costumes will be shipped without at least 50% deposit received. The balance may be paid upon receipt of garments. Dornink accepts checks and all forms of credit cards.
Custom garment prices are based on orders of 20 pieces or more. Ready-to-wear prices are based on orders of 6 pieces or more. Prices may increase if ordering fewer than the minimum.
All Dornink custom garments are made to order, which takes a minimum of 6-10 weeks for production. Rush fees may be applied to orders with shorter lead times. Ready to Wear garments are subject to availability but can usually ship within 7 business days. Dornink is not responsible for delays due to weather, shipping conflicts or unforeseen situations.
New Custom Styles
Work with our design team to create a unique look for your group. New styles are developed through sketches and color illustration. To have the garment shipped to you for approval, the cost is that of the quoted design. If an order is placed using this design and the sample is returned, the cost is refunded minus shipping. If there are significant changes requested to a custom design and a second sample is required, the cost is that of the garment and is non-refundable. A design fee of $100 will be applied to custom designs with fewer than 20 pieces. Additional fees may be incurred if specific fabric must be ordered. Please allow an additional 4-6 weeks for new custom styles. All patterns developed and manufactured by Dornink are the exclusive property of Dornink.
Ready-to-Wear dresses and suits are not produced directly by Dornink. We have no control over the size, color and availability of the garments. Availability of styles and sizes can change daily so please move quickly once you have decided on a style. Ready-to-Wear dresses come AS IS. Some styles may be shorter than others. Dornink is happy to offer alterations on Read-to-Wear. Please contact Dornink for specific alterations and pricing.
As our Ready-to-Wear is ordered from wholesale vendors. We do not keep stock on them. We recommend placing your full order all at once to guarantee you get the sizes you need. Ready-to-Wear styles are non-stretch and run true to the measurements listed for each style.
The Zipper Guarantee
As the trend in show choir apparel has changed over the years, Dornink has strived to move with the trend and find amazing beaded dresses at affordable prices. In order to achieve this, we source dresses from various vendors that buy directly from China or India. Since Dornink is not directly involved in the production of these dresses, we cannot always guarantee the zipper quality. We understand that costumes and zippers need to be sturdy and last throughout the entire show choir season. Therefore, we will happily replace any broken zipper, free of charge, on Dornink Ready to Wear or Custom apparel for a full year. Replaced zippers will be YKK invisible or regular zippers. Please allow 2 weeks for sewing and shipping. If you are under a time crunch, Dornink will mail you a zipper for replacement.
How to Size
Dornink provides sizing garments in either stretch fabric or non stretch. Sizing garments are billed at $150 per set and are refundable once returned.
Custom Design Samples
For new custom designs, Dornink will design, sketch and color illustrate your vision. Once a style has been confirmed by this method, you can proceed directly to your bulk order or order a sample. If you proceed directly to production, Dornink will make a sample at no cost and email pictures for approval on the final design. Samples can also be shipped to the client for approval, which will incur the cost of the sample quoted. This cost is refundable once the sample is returned and bulk order is placed (shipping non refundable). As we do not keep stock on all the fabric we offer, samples are often created in fabric that has a similar hand. If specific fabric is requested by the client and must be ordered, the sample is non-refundable.
Fit garments are the best way to determine size on Women’s Groups. The fit garments in the correct fabric will be billed at the price of your production garment and should be included in the total number of pieces ordered. Fit garments are not returnable. Please allow an additional 2-4 weeks for fit garment production
Custom garments are made to Dornink’s standard measurements and some alterations may be needed. Each style fits differently depending on the chosen fabric. Ready to Wear garments are all sized differently. For sizing, request a sizing chart for each style. Women’s Choirs must order sizing samples for their design. This ensures the best overall fit for each member. Please don’t hesitate to contact Dornink with sizing questions.
All custom garments are made to order and all Ready-to-Wear garments are ordered specifically for your school, therefore ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please check your order upon receipt. Any damaged products or garments must be claimed within 72 hours. Items will either be exchanged or repaired.
